Homefy seamlessly connects residents, Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), facility management, security personnel, and service providers through its app and web platform.

To provide our services effectively, we collect the following information:

Residents

  • Name, email address, phone number, secondary phone number, apartment/villa details, vehicle number (if applicable), and other optional details like profile pictures, interests, and biographies.
  • Payment information for bill payments or other services.
  • Usage data, including app interactions, pages accessed, and timestamps.

Guests

  • Name and resident flat to be visited. Additional guest details like phone number or photograph may be collected at the discretion of the respective RWA.

Service Providers

  • Name, phone number, flat to be visited, entry/exit times, vehicle details (if any), purpose of visit, and photograph. RWAs may also mandate identity verification and additional information for security purposes.

Device and Technical Information

  • Device type, operating system, browser information, IP address, and app usage statistics to optimize the app experience.

We collect and process your information to:

  • Deliver and maintain Homefy's features and services.
  • Facilitate secure visitor approvals and daily help notifications.
  • Improve user experience through personalized content and recommendations.
  • Enable RWAs to manage community amenities and resolve resident concerns.
  • Enhance app security and prevent unauthorized access or misuse.
  • Provide updates on new features, benefits, or compliance requirements.
  • Integrate with trusted third-party providers for added functionality.

We do not sell your personal information. However, your data may be shared in the following circumstances:

  • RWAs and Administrative Entities: RWAs may access data for managing community operations, as per their agreement with Homefy.
  • Service Providers: Trusted third-party providers assist in app operations, payment processing, or communication services. These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose information to comply with legal obligations, enforce terms of service, or respond to law enforcement requests.
  • Explicit Consent: Data will only be shared with third-party partners for value-added services with your explicit opt-in.

You are in full control of your data and can:

  • Review and update your information through the Homefy app.
  • Opt-out of notifications for specific features like payments, entry/exit, or helpdesk updates.
  • Request data deletion or account deactivation by contacting support@homefy.co.in.

Homefy employs industry-leading practices to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest with Https and SSL pinning enabled.
  • Regular security assessments and penetration testing.
  • Access controls to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Data is stored securely on servers with multiple layers of protection.

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services or comply with legal requirements. Specific policies include:

  • Visitor data is retained for 120 days and will be permanently deleted thereafter.
  • User data can be deleted upon request, subject to RWA approval.
  • Backup systems ensure data deletion is thorough and not accidental.

Note: Visitor data will be permanently deleted from all active databases and backups after the specified retention period.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notifications. We encourage you to review this policy regularly.

For the purpose of these Terms, wherever the context so requires, "You" or "User" shall mean any natural or legal person or any entity who has agreed to become a registered User on the Platform by providing registration data while registering on the Platform.

The term "We," "Us," or "Our" shall mean CODEDTX Solutions Private Limited, the owner and operator of the Platform. Homefy is a product of CODEDTX Solutions Private Limited ("Homefy" or the "Company"), which expression shall, wherever the context permits, be deemed to mean and include its successors and permitted assigns. The Platforms are owned and operated by the Company.
